Neon Preparatory School

I'm a sucker for buttoned-up shirts. Fact. I have about a dozen of them and am no stranger to buttoning them up all the way to the tippy top — almost like it was mandatory, say a uniform of sorts. I'm not sure why, since I'm pretty sure they'd look equally fantastic with a little room to breathe. I'm just not one to show much skin, I guess, and find an equal sexiness is the conservative. There's just something about the way a buttoned-up outfit can look almost subversively proper that suits my personality. Especially when there's a stud or two to be noticed — on the shirt, the ears, and the wrist.

Taylor Tomasi Hill, Modern Woman

Loving all the street style images from Australian Fashion Week. So laid back and unique! Love it all.

Lady Muscle Tee

Rodarte for Target t-shirt, Kate Spade bow flap bag, Kate Spade satin bow shoes, Anthropologie neon pleated skirt, Karen Walker Number Six round sunglasses

Nothing like dressing down a lady like skirt (in a very bright neon color, I might add) with a simple tee shirt. Knotted down the middle, sleeves slightly rolled. Then dressing it up with a Theory tux jacket and Kate Spade satin bow shoes. I cannot wait for San Francisco to heat up for summer time.

Electric Youth

This was my Super Bowl day outfit. There was so much testosterone in the air that my outfit was inspired by masculine fabrics and touches. It turned my feminine pleated skirt  more neutral in an electric neon green, topped off by a  chambray shirt tied in a bow lieu of a belt, Raybans versus my typical cat eye, and of course, the irresistible Dior water lilly nail polish that has not come off my nails for weeks (I reapply, of course, but I have no desire to put something else on.) The shoes are DKNY, pretty much the most comfortable bondage-looking strappy sandal. They were a steal on Net-A-Porter.

Did I watch the game? No, I did not watch the game, but instead sat on the couch and watched Drive. That movie, awesome. Soundtrack? Even better.

Best Dressed of The Week: Caroline Winberg

Such a playful look! Love the texture she ads with the fur coat over the Opening Ceremony dress. The neon yellow hem is fantastic and brings out her platinum blond locks, and the highlights on her Prada Saffiano Bag. Definitely the best iteration of Isabel Marant's fringe boots I've seen.

Love this so much! Get the outfit here.
