Stubbs & Wootton and the Resurgence of Needlepoint

Images: The Cut, Moda Operandi

Needlepoint seen on Dolce & Gabbana Runway, with baroque floral elements, are the perfect mix of granny and sexuality. Two things that you would never want to merge cause extreme cognitive dissonance and hurt your brain to think about until the initial panic subsides and you realize the two concepts work so well. I'm particularly smitten with the floral kitsch Stubbs & Wootton slippers. With a big fan of neutral monochrome palettes in somber colors, this is the right amount of pop and kitsch to brighten up any outfit. Weekend wear? I beg to differ. They are All-the-time wear, in my opinion.

Not a fan of the rosy slippers? Not to worry. Moda Operandi has managed to stock an incredible variety of patterns and colors. Shop them all at Moda Operandi
