Clueless, I could indeed be a farmer in those clothes. What with the plaid flannel, plain tee, waxed leather work boots, denim and a motivated demeanor, I feel like I would fit right in on a farm. I certainly look the part. But as I am told by people who actually grew up in close proximity to farms, (namely one, Nick Smith) I am lacking a certain
je nai sais quoi when it comes to knowing important farm life things. Like how big cows actually are, how to lure a chicken into a coop at night, how to appropriately starve a tomato vine to produce fatter fruit, that tomatos are
actually a fruit, and by-the-way-Pluto-ain't-a-planet-either-so-get-back-to-work, etc.
