The iconic polka-dot wearing, head bow toting mouse was a fashion icon of mine growing up. The uniform of black, white gloves, and polka dot bows was irresistible to me in my jeans and t-shirt world. Maybe it was the particularly sour weather that morning at brunch, but that day I was in the mood to be uplifted and a little silly in my sartorial choices. Every now and then I like to get a little playful and pretend my oversized round sunglasses are as big as Minnie Mouse ears, and that the polka dotted silk top is the same special as the dress she always wore in her plushy stuffed animal form.
