Heavy Into DYLANLEX

A shift has occurred. I no longer want many of the things I've spent good money for in my closet. I want more monochrome, more minimalism, but oddly enough with touches of opulence. Enter DYLANLEX. The ability to elevate a boring t-shirt with one statement piece is so incredibly sexy to me I'm having a hard time not cashing in my Balenciaga cut out boots right now (which I haven't worn in months, FYI) and paying down some bills and reinvesting in other pieces.

  1. Not the boots! In my mind they can transform an everyday outfit (albeit in a different way) as an opulent necklace. I went through the same thought process with my Chloe Susanna boots, even listed them for sale, but when I couldn't get a decent offer I ended up keeping them and I'm glad that I did. I didn't wear them for almost a year but this spring I dusted them off for several wears.

    1. You make a really good point, Anonymous friend! I think the moment I started getting the listing ready for them I realized I didn't want to part with them. I worked soo hard to afford them, and they represent a lot of hard work to me — as cheesy as that sounds.

      Phew! Thanks for commenting.
