How I'd Wear Jenn's Holiday All Purpose, Bad Ass Sequin Mini Skirt (Three Ways)

The first outfit features a top from See By ChloƩ, but it can basically be any flowey top that has ruffles (flattering ones!!) to pair with the sparkle skirt. I love that the skirt is tight, but I chose the more casual top because it balances the skirt from being overly sexy (your boss is at this party, there's booze and dancing...awkward). Since the top is trendy, I paired it with comfortable military ankle boots for this. The boots are from Aldo, and they are on sale. Definitely go with opaque tights, or sweater tights to stay warm if it's an outdoor party.

The second outfit in the center is adorable and proper. The top is a chambray, tuxedo bow-tie shirt from J Crew. I personally love the combination of the jean-like chambray blue with the formal black. The bow tie is cheeky and a cute play on a formal outing. The suede black booties are also from Aldo and they are on sale, too! This can also work with pants, skinny black pants. The whole damn thing. If you need a jacket you really can't go wrong with a fitted blazer.

The third one is the most comfortable combination with a cozy Donna Karen sweater. I think you can get away with it because a) it's winter, and b) the sequin skirt is mini and shiny that if you wanted to go minimal with the outfit you totally can because there's still a lot of leg in the equation. I'd wear a long gold necklace, and red lipstick to match the Aldo red pumps. This one is classy and probably the most comfortable. The blouse underneath can be sleeveless and light weight/sexier since the sweater/cardigan is so voluminous.
