The Ideal and Minimal Glamour of Amina and Eleonora

If I were in any snowy city environment right now I'd certainly be modeling myself after these ladies. Despite layering boxy coats and over-the-top furs they still manage to feel uniquely feminine and even quirky in some instances.

NYFW Street Style Success Stories

Is street style dead? Dude, I don't know. I know there are plenty of articles out there bashing the The Most Photographed people for wearing head-to-toe designer outfits in uninspiring ways, but to proclaim that street style is dead because only a few elite are uninspiring is pretty fucking naïve. As if the rest of us — the folks who get dressed up for jobs and things and also too give a shit about what we look like — are chopped liver. Shameful. I think there are plenty of problems with the business of blogging and remaining authentic, but it's certainly not mine, and therefore not my concern. In fact, when it comes to enjoying fashion month from the comfort of my computer at home I find even the train-wrecks and the sell outs inspiring as a cautionary tale for what not to be. So let the ever impractical Anna Dello Russos and the "OMG-so-busy, such-meetings" bloggers run around the globe, peacocking for the camera. I'll be here sipping my coffee/cocktail silently filling outfits I hate in my mind and publicly admiring the ones that I love here.

Menswear

Oh to be a thousand feet tall and able to wear mens-inspired everything and still look feminine. A+ for bringing back the "it" bag of a couple years back.

Wanted: Semi-sheer Ankle Socks

There's something really demure and proper about the semi sheer socks. It's like a piece of lingerie that is often forgotten because socks have become more and more invisible throughout the decades. The return of trouser socks, especially in a seductive sheer is actually pretty lovely in counter-balancing a pair of masculine brogues. Seems like required dressing for tomboys this fall, no?

No offense to Mirsolava Duma, but she is my queen now. She is just...perfect. Without even trying.
