Long Jacket Theory: Do you even need pants?

I think not. Tights is what we'll need for this (should the weather get chilly or your legs are less than smooth). Love the Paul & Joe Sister jacket. It's a classic double-breasted shape, slightly exaggerated, in a beautiful gem colored green. It's just subtle enough to make black look a little too boring. The rest of the accessories are no brainers to me: The Lulu Frost for J. Crew earrings and the Stubbs & Wootten loafers have been on my wish list for months! Make sure you check out that Carven dress. The back of it is to die for!

City Festival

While many of us don't have a short shorts type of workplace, where you can parade around the office with about 2-inches of fabric between you and your crotch, most of us do have that kind of weekend freedom. Because this is America, thats why. So in our free time you can choose to dress like this, taking cues from the people at Coachella. Like Kate Bosworth, or Arizona Muse

You can wear extremely short Ksubi shorts with a paisley print Peul & Jose sister silk-blend blouse and still look refined. The chain bag is the perfect way to keep things lady-like, so do it with something a) cute and b) miniature like the Mulberry cookie mini bag. It's scalloped and has a chain bag. Adorable! The Cutler and Gross clear acetate sunglasses are a nod again to the hippie-ness going on in Coachella, while the Zara embellished T-bar flats are just plain beautiful.

I know it's barely Tuesday, so maybe just wear this with a pair of skinny jeans in the mean time, alright?

Go Big Red

Oh how far we've come, self. From a staunch enthusiasm for black on black, and moody outfits, and high buttoned collars, and now to a fire engine red monochrome beautiful look based on none other than Mirsolava Duma. There's no collar to be found on the Paul & Joe Sister silk elephant print shirt and nothing but chic about the Gucci cropped wool pants. Accessorizing after Miroslava, I paired it with a classic pair of half-frame Ray Bans and a chili pepper looking Isabel Marant boho chic necklace set. The shoes are Alexander Wang and they add just a touch of athleticism to this otherwise classic look.
