If it weren't for the plethora of feminine details, I'd confidently agree with you that this otufit is indeed too dark. Almost goth even. But when you're talking about a sea anemone-esque silk blouse from Prabal Gurung paired with a sexy Rick Owens Lilies slit wrap skirt, all that black becomes more digestible than you think. Taking a note from muse Jenna Lyons, work this look with a quirky pair of Cutler and Gross opticals and a fiery red lip. The Alexander McQueen bow-embellished booties are oh-so girly in rich black suede, which only serves to compliment the luxe studded Valentino Va Va Voom clutch.

City Festival

The Cutler and Gross clear acetate sunglasses are a nod again to the hippie-ness going on in Coachella, while the Zara embellished T-bar flats are just plain beautiful.
