Listen, this is a secondary version of this post because taking photos whilst having a full time job takes time. Not only that, but Dixon is a very special place for me and these photos are lovely because Nick took them after spending time with family up near Sacramento. Looking at these photos is bittersweet because of the events surrounding them. So indulge me for a moment by allowing me to post a slightly different version of this outfit on a beautifully haunting day in the fields.
WEARING:
MADEWELL jacket (Small)
YANG LI skirt (size 40)
EVERLANE loafers, size 37.5, runs VERY small, size up 1 size)
TARGET patent belt (taken from a dress ;) )
Much better close ups of that Yang Li skirt. P.s. I'm really lovin' that 50's vibe going on there. All you need are some socks and an embroidered jacket :)
ReplyDeleteThank you so much, Jane! I am fully into the 50s aesthetic right now. From mid-century modern to the voluminous skirts and cat eyes!
DeleteAbsolutely love this look! The jacket looks so chic paired with that skirt, and this look is so timeless that I can see people wearing it in the future too.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Valerie! That's what made me snatch up the skirt, too! The ability to be both a dress, very glamorous, or just unconventionally casual with flats.
