About An Hour : Feb. 9. 2015

I've got another one ready, and this one took me a while to complete for two reasons; a) I was pretty obsessed with the previous playlist I made, and b) because I wanted to make a mood board that I thought was worthy enough for it.

I hope you enjoy both!

If you're looking for previous playlists, they're all archived in my second playlist on Spotify here.

Music / Moodboard: The Dream & The Principles of Somber Street

A tom boy aesthetic, in muted colors, and an extra large dose of nonchalance. Loving ripped jeans, baseball caps, and classic refined buttoned ups and coats at the moment. I guess I'd call it Somber Street. Follow me on tumblr for sources for all these bad ass images. And also, listen to this:

Music/Moodboard: Sunset

Love the Zara CĂ©line-esque sandals that I snapped up this week. They're like the Birkenstock in that they make you seem almost lazy,  but they look so great with anything tailored. I mean, they look equally great with slacker attire, like ripped denim — obviously. I cannot wait until the sun catches up with my desire to dress for warm weather. Get them online here.

Music / Moodboard: Together

My tumblr is back in action, providing me with a new found source of inspiration. On the music front I am really impressed with the continuing hype for both Daft Punk and The Great Gatsby soundtrack. With output like this song from The xx I am happily counting myself as part of that crowd:

Pyramids

Music & fashion are inextricable and oh so necessary for inspiration. That's how I see it. This is what's inspiring me lately, all to the tune of Frank Ocean. Happy Friday. Follow me on Pinterest
