From the photos it looks like you have puffy hair. Is that correct? I'm only asking because I was born genetically disadvantaged with puffy and some what frizzy hair especially after showering. Any advice? Any shampoo, hair treatment to tame the puffiness?
Haha. Puffy is definitely a word I'd use to describe my hair in the middle of high humidity. What I should have done at this point was pull my hair back into a bun (my usual fix if product is not available). If I have time I use LOTS of product and let my hair get dirty. I'm currently trying out my shampoo/conditioner mix, but in terms of products for styling I love Oribe styling sprays and Aveda Phomolient. It's genius.
I hope that helps! I'll make a post on hair stuff when I fine tune it.
Additional silly questions: what do you use, if any, during high humidity surroundings to tame hair from getting outta control? Also, do you use any electrical hair styling devices? I stopped going to a hair dresser, hair stylist, hair whatever many years ago after having wayyy too many bad hair cuts/experiences and sort of just played things by ear. I hope you have a hair post asap because I'm super desperate to see another side of my hair besides puffiness.
Ahh, stay tuned. I am going to write something up about my routine soon. Just gotta nail the products down. In the meantime I do have a few hair posts, most notably:
1. This one about heidi braids: http://twelveofour.blogspot.com/2014/12/word-tutorial-heidi-braids.html 2. This one about my favorite salon in SF (which basically saved me from a TERRIBLE hair cut a few years ago):http://twelveofour.blogspot.com/2014/11/spoke-weal.html
