Green Machine

There's something really exciting about minimalism that has built in pep. The idea that picking two colors and the same metal jewelry can make an outfit that is both super crisp and very optimistic. There's a theme recently! Perhaps a side effects of spring 2012's pastel trend is a healthy dose of positivity. Not bad.

I have a thing for cat eye sunglasses and opticals so I am literally obsessed with any fine crafted optical like Cutler and Gross' cat eye. It goes with my face, and it's sassy. Which I like. The candy-colored mint top is by Acne, and it drapes into an Elizabeth & James meshy, green pencil skirt. Classic shape, modern texture. Love that.

Finish it off with the super clean Acne Stella bag in black, my everlasting love for Eddie Borgo's single stud earrings and the punk-inspired cone bracelet. A classic sandal shape with a chunky heel by Ralph Lauren keeps this look clean. Who knows, maybe you can even paint your nails neon green and have them peek through.
