Internet stalking is the essence of a blog's success, and I'm happy to have you.

xoOlga Montserrathttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09517263786436879714noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33877829.post-12636143367762116442014-03-11T21:47:13.390-07:002014-03-11T21:47:13.390-07:00Hi again,

The truth is I'm embarrass to confess that I have a huge girl crush on you and your blog that I rather stay anonymous. You're just soo cool, you're smart, have an artistic eye, and I bet you're a talented and successful art director. I have to admit I'm a bit jealous. If I've lived closer to SF I would so secretly stalk you (in a non-creepy way of course) and try to befriend you. I hope I haven't weird you out. Back to the post, can't wait for your take on the sneaker subject. I am incredibly humbled you like my blog and the way I talk about fashion things. I think what I like the most about fashion is finding ways to incorporate it into my life without going absolutely crazy, poor, or being unreasonable/irrational. Lots of people like fashion, but fashion is so good at being exclusive and nutso sometimes. I'm on board with you!

I would love to do a sneaker post. I think it's such a great idea given how readily available sneakers are now. I love the idea of a masculine/feminine balance, and sneakers are a quick way to nonchalance and masculinity, but the downside is it can look very trendy or teenager-style quickly!

Let me think on this and come back with a thoughtful post for you. I'd love to do a shout out for you, so if you don't mind sending me your name (or more if you want!), I'd be happy to mention you in it. :)

Thanks again. And look out for the post!

xo

OlgaOlga Montserrathttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09517263786436879714noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33877829.post-68634152486252972822014-03-10T23:21:25.763-07:002014-03-10T23:21:25.763-07:00Hi Olga,
The thing that I love most about your blo...Hi Olga,
The thing that I love most about your blog is the fact that you can see a photograph or runway image and translate that image in terms a common person can understand. Sometimes when I see other bloggers post something that they like, for example a runway image, I don't get why they like it. Usually that image is followed with an "I love this outfit," "some of my runway favorites" or sometimes nothing at all. I've never been an artistic person so I have a hard time making sense why a particular look (or image) works. You do that very well with your posts/photographs so much so that I would like to ask a favor. I think it is safe to say (according to your instagram photos) that you from time to time like to sport sneakers with your outfits. I love the whole sporty, masculine/feminine/professional look but I have a hard time achieving that look without looking like a wannabe teenager. Can you please do a post about sneakers? Which sneakers work which don't? What's the balance in achieving that cool sporty professional look that ohh so many fashionable ladies can pull without looking like a dressed up teenager? It would be much appreciated. Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
